Why I'm different 🫆

I have over a decade of experience turning messy problems into clear, thoughtful digital products. I’ve worked across industries, teams, time zones, and tech stacks—and through it all, my approach stays the same: listen carefully, design with purpose, and don’t make users think too hard.

I’ve also traveled to over 50 countries, which has taught me two important things: how to pack light and how to see the world from someone else’s perspective. That global lens has shaped the way I design— not just for “users,” but for real people with different needs, expectations, and ways of thinking. I’m comfortable at every stage of the design process—whether I’m digging into user research, mapping flows, sketching concepts, running design reviews, or partnering with engineers to bring the final product to life. I also believe in paying it forward. I’ve been lucky to learn from some great mentors, and I make a point to support junior designers whenever I can.

Some kind words from generous people

"I worked with Greg for about 3 years at RED, and what stood out to me was his integrity and dedication. He was a relentless worker, and I trusted him completely with any task. He was always in the office early, never complained, never showed any negativity, and was just a rock solid colleague.

This came through when he worked as part of a team as well. He was a great collaborator and teammate. He was always willing to lend a hand and always did it with a smile on his face. He was a rock within our team, always calm, and a strong presenter. I have nothing but good things to say about Greg, he'd be an asset to any team."

-Andrew Turrell, VP of Customer Experience Strategy at RED Interactive Agency

I had the absolute pleasure of working closely with Greg on multiple projects during his time at Hilton. His deep understanding of user-centered design principles, coupled with his sharp problem-solving instincts, made him an invaluable part of our team every day.

As a UX researcher, I particularly appreciated how seamlessly we partnered throughout the research and design process. Greg not only valued user insights, he actively sought them out. He consistently engaged with research findings with curiosity and intention, asking thoughtful, empathetic questions that helped us dig deeper into user needs. He had a gift for uncovering actionable insights and thoughtfully weaving them into design decisions that were not only elegant but also deeply grounded in user behavior.

Greg’s ability to iterate is one of his strongest traits. He approaches feedback not as a critique but as an opportunity to strengthen his work. Whether it came from research, project stakeholders, or design peers, he listened with an open mind, parsed the signal from the noise, and thoughtfully incorporated changes, always with the user in focus. His attention to detail is meticulous, yet never at the expense of the bigger picture. He’s also confident in defending design decisions when needed, clearly articulating the rationale behind choices in a way that brings others along and builds trust.

On top of all that, Greg is just a fantastic teammate. He’s humble, supportive, generous with his time, and always willing to jump in and help. As a peer, he elevates everyone around him, offering encouragement and genuine collaboration.

Any team would be lucky to have Greg. He’s not just a highly skilled UX designer, but a trusted teammate, a strategic thinker, and someone who makes every project stronger. I’d jump at the chance to work with him again.
